The Theatrical Group of the “LIGHTHOUSE OF THE BLIND OF GREECE” presents the modular play “These and many more”

Vangelis Mouroukos undertook the beginning and the finale of the show that satirizes the Greek reality. Then, Gogo Roukoutaki together with Vivi Christodoulou and Maria Kotrotsou take us to an older era with Tennessee Williams’s single “Greetings from Bertha”.

Following is the sketch “A phone call is our life” where we watch 3 phone calls from 3 different people who are Evi Aslanoglou, Maria Kotrotsou and Argyro Tentoma and it seems how much time we waste on topics that could be said in a short time and instead We are talking about wind and water and in the end we may have forgotten why we called our interlocutor.

Vivi Christodoulou and Eleni Gouvatsou take us to America in the 1930s with Tennessee Williams’ solo work “The Dark Room” which shows the ignorance of immigrants and the difficulty to face the truth since they do not know the language of the country hosts, with the result that the whole story makes you laugh and cry together.

The show ends with Gogo Roukoutaki where she presents the life of an old singer of the popular stage who is now ill, does not sing and recalls the old glories she lived on stage. With her is Vangelis Mouroukos who will close the show with a poem by George Souris, to remember once again that from 1886 until today almost nothing has changed. Periklis Mataragas is in charge of the whole show.
