Since 2013, the Fabrica Athens organization has been investing in the artistic and, in particular, theatrical education of young artists (performers, actors), theater educators, as well as their further education. It specializes in the methodology developed by the organization’s co-founder Fanis Katehos, “Theatre of Research”, which it uses, both in approved curricula, as well as in non-formal education and in the community as a tool for social and personal development.
The organization’s instructors conduct weekly courses and independent seminars (Research Theater, Yoga, Circus Techniques, Stilt Walking, etc.) in Greece and abroad, while at the same time teaching in Correctional Institutions (EKKNA, KATKETH, Korydallos Prison Psychiatric Hospital), in European Programs and Erasmus+ Programs (Youth Exchanges, Youth Workers Exchanges, Training Courses, etc.).
Furthermore, the organization, within the framework of its theatrical research and with the aim of the multidimensional education of actors and performers, collaborates with renowned Greek and foreign instructors, artists and organizations, organizing individual seminars and hosting courses as part of the annual course series of the Fabrica Lab organization.
