The Multiactive Art Group Fabrica Athens organizes this year the 10th Handmade & Recycled Theater Festival. The most handmade and recyclable festival in the neighborhood of Kerameikos, returns for the ninth consecutive year!
The idea
Why handmade and recyclable?
“What we did with effort, we gave it a title. Central to the philosophy of the festival are the ideas of handmade and recyclable. The name and character of the Festival arose from the very identity of the group and continues its course over time. In the special circumstances we are going through, with the field of culture being affected and artists being called upon to find new ways to continue creating, the idea of the Festival is inspired by a different way of operating.
Our goal is to highlight the artists who take the art in their hands and the presentation of diy creations. For the first time this year the festival also hosts international participations; artists and groups that share a common vision with Fabrica Athens,honor us with their presence!
The program of the 10th HRTFest includes:
Theater, physical theater, street theater, children’s theater, improvisation, dance theater, theatrical analogy, performance, video performance, video dance, music performance, site specific performance, standup comedy, narration, contemporary dance, concerts, live music, short and medium length movies, video art screenings, documentaries, painting, collage, photography, installations, book presentation, circus artists, acrobatics, aerial Skills, jewelry, mask, doll, clothing, DIY Constructions, children’s creative work, seminars, lectures.

Contest for artists! Each group has the opportunity to present their project. Fabrica Athens will host the production of the winning team for 10 performances at Fabrica Artspace.
