The Multi functional Art Group Fabrica Athens presents it\u2019s new show , which is dedicated to a hero of Greece, the legendary mathematician Konstantinos Karatheodoris. The team collaborates with the director Christos Karasavvidis, presenting a poetic look at the form and work of the great scientist. The last theorem-Constantin Caratheodory will start on March 11 and will be played for 16 performances at the Fabrica Theater (Meg.Alexandrou 125 &Evrymedontos, Kerameikos).<\/p>\n

The performance is a tribute to KonstantinosKaratheodoris, whose work, although it greatly shaped mathematical science remained unrecognized in his homeland. Karatheodoris was considered one of the greatest scientists of his time, who helped develop Einstein\u2019s Theory of relativity. He solved unsolved mathematical problems and founded the science of thermodynamics. His Greek colleagues rejected his Karatheodoris more than once.<\/p>\n

It is a stage composition on the occasion of the thought and personality of the mathematician. The play doesn\u2019t want to narrate the biography of Konstantinos Karatheodoris, but to unfold on the stage the labyrinthine mind of genius, which characterized the scientific thought of past century. In the face of horror and barbarity of wars that stigmatized humanity, mathematics for Karatheodoris look like poetry.<\/p>\n
