The 8th Handmade & Recycled Theater Festival<\/a>, our favorite festival in the historic neighborhood of Kerameikos, returns for the eighth consecutive year!<\/h5>\n
From September 24 to October 4, 2020, we take art in our hands!<\/h6>\n
The idea<\/h6>\n

Why handmade and recyclable?<\/p>\n

“What we did with effort, we gave him a title.” Central\u00a0keystone\u00a0to the Handmade and Recycled Theater Festival<\/a> is the idea of \u200b\u200bhandmade and recyclable. The name and character of the Festival emerged from the identity of the group. So it is not about choosing a title, but about a need, a way of life that is reincarnated in an artistic vision. A festival with self-organized artists, creating together, each taking on different roles to achieve a result.<\/p>\n

In this particular period we are going through, with the field of culture being affected and artists being called upon to find ways to continue creating, the idea of \u200b\u200bthe Festival is inspired by a different way of operating.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to support artists who want to take art into their own hands, to highlight DIY creations and to develop a network of artists who have a common way of thinking, perceiving and creating. We invite all of you to share your ideas with us and to co-organize a different Festival of Handmade & Recyclable Theater!<\/p>\n

A few words about the festival<\/h6>\n

As in previous years, this year the festival program includes many different forms of expression and artistic creation:<\/p>\n

Prose, musical theater, performance, music performance, site specific performance, physical theater, street theater, children’s theater, improvisation, standup comedy, bar theater, storytelling, theatrical analogy, contemporary dance, dance theater, jazz dance, concerts, dj sets, music , movie screenings, short films, documentaries, painting, collage, photography, architectural design,\u00a0installations, book presentation, book reading, video art screenings, site specific art, video performance, circus, acrobatics, aerial Skills, jugglers, clowns, jewelry, mask, doll, clothing, DIY Constructions, workshop, children’s creative work, seminars, lectures .<\/p>\n

At this year’s festival, the venues and the way of operation will be differentiated from the previous years, and will be shaped – determined in accordance with the rules and protection measures proposed by the competent bodies.<\/p>\n

Here the camera, as the main narrator, the present existence of the action, is embodied and reveals to us the subjective, each time, truth, with Kostas Tataroglou and Cinemascoop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

19: 00-20: 00 “PuRangers improvise”<\/em><\/a>, The PuRangers improvisation team invites you to come and play with her in an improvisation show. In improvisation there are no texts and scenes. We will create them together on stage to make a show just for us and only for one night, by the PoRangers team.<\/p>\n

20: 45-21: 45 “The Seagull ‘Ou”<\/em><\/a>, The’ Ou is a seagull. It flies, it dreams, it sees the world not only from above to the earth, but also from the bottom to the sun, from the land to the fertile land, and many times from the cut waves to the land. He knows that there is always something more to go through in all lengths and breadths. He learns from wandering and knows how to generously share his experiences with other seagulls, comic theatrical improvisation – Improv Comedy Theater – from the Comic Theatrical Improvisation team, Sweet Herring.<\/p>\n
