Van Gogh – Letters to My Brother Theo

Fabrica Athens hosts the project “Van Gong – Letters to My Brother Teo” at the Fabrica Technopark. An artistic manifesto, addressed to all artists and around the world.

A few words about the project

It is a documentary based on a human story, which reveals a giant work of art and a real literary monument. It is a dialogue, not only with his brother, but also with himself, God and the world. An uninterrupted conversation that will last until his death. Through letters and music, the play comes to highlight the rich inner world of Vincent van Gogh and the spiritual content that exists in his paintings. The great painter is not recognized alive – yet he passes on to immortality, finally revealing to us the triumphant yellow color. Wassm, June 1879 “Art is the man added to nature”, nature, reality, truth, but with a meaning, with a conception, with a character, which the artist reveals, and which gives expression to them , “releases” them, dissolves them, redeems them, illuminates them.
